It states that certain cells are to be shaded, it does not state that the corners are to be excluded. And 'corners' are not cells - they are parts of a given shape.

That is not what the instruction says, Candledave. You are conflating the “group” of cells representing words with the “set” of cells represented by the last anti-clockwise word. The first is a subset of the second. If Raven had meant the group he would have said so. I’m 100% in Drxx’s camp. Anyone shading 30 cells will be marked wrong, and rightly so

...and not just a shape - a specific thing.

By the way, can anyone tell me where to find the little 'degrees' circle? My keyboard doesn't seem to have one and I'm reduced to using '%' to (over)represent it.

Seems slightly odd to bother with all the jumbles and the words if the instruction could simply have been find the world and shade it appropriately.
