I'd be OK with a 10-vote format, but in truth I'd allocate many of the votes in blocks (implicit favo(u)rites), rather than ten singletons.

Afterthought on vote allocation. If there were to be a change I would support a compulsory 3-2-1 to avoid fence sitting. However, I am happy with current format which gives scope for more 'likes'.
