I’d like to propose we change the number of votes to 10. Thoughts?

Re 10 vs 6 votes, wouldn't that just lead to someone casting 1 vote for 10 clues and then bemoaning the lack of an 11th? No different from Clueless or PR where you must make a tough call between your two top clues - here you only have to decide between 6th and 7th favorites.

I'll go with the consensus on 10 votes.
My instinct is that 10 would make it more difficult (time-consuming) for voters. It definitely would cut down on ties.
In practice it's likely (IMO) to lead to more "multiple votes per clue" as voters fill out their 10.

I think '6' has worked well ... not sure tinkering with the rules will attract new entrants - they're probably confused already!

[On the subject of voting I think it’s better to express a preference (e.g. 2,1,1,1,1, or 3,2,1) rather than six 1’s, as it is likely to resolve any tie break situation]

Thanks to all who took part in this weekend’s challenge. There were a great range of clueing styles on display suitable for a variety of publications, some from the top shelf 😉

However, in a close fought contest we have Paul@4 and Aristo@8 in joint second with 5 votes apiece, but nudging ahead with 6 votes is our very own Prof, Darla with 6 votes. It would have been my first choice …

Thanks, Jono. Great choice of words to clue. Thanks for the prizes too; especially enjoyed the Bowie of course, though he seemed a bit stoned. The lyrics do say "I'll drink all the time" I suppose.
