I believe the proper parsing of 22d is a textspeak acronym, similar to LOL = laughing out loud. Same first word . . .

Hi all. Just finished. Thanks for tips.
I love Phil’s clue for 22D. 17 raised a smile. And 7D is (IMO) quite clever - at least on this side of the pond.

One cousin of mine is a bass guitarist in Australia.
My late cousin was a freelance drummer and wrote books on bass drum control.
I have no such talent 😁
