I agree with you kitsune on 4d. That held me up for a while. As far as I know that's not a current spelling.

I believe I can understand what to do where a thematic and no-thematoc entry cross. But unclear whatvtondonif two thematic entries intersect with different letters at a cell

It may depend on your perspective, andyp! That spelling was fine until 1982 but was then superseded.

Thankyou smellyharry. There is only one way to avoid clashes, and perhaps that means a different interpretation of a word towards the end of the first sentence of the preamble?
