AP, the 'central' in central character may prove useful....

Apologies for not having replied earlier Malone. Open Reach managed to cut off everybody round here for most of the morning. Thank you for the hint. The remaining character was as always hidden from me in plain sight.

I'm still stuck about the size and where to put those two drawings.
Another tip would be much appreciated

I started from the bottom corners of the last letter of the god in the central column and drew two of the objects described by the extra letters at 45 degrees downwards. Those lines each hit a letter of the two characters in the bottom half; I made the ends of the objects an appropriate colour for the target as given by the metals from the extra letters.
No idea if this is right.
