It was only after solving the Queen of Sheba one that I found out where Sheba actually is/was (Yemen).
Funny how you can be familiar with something for so long without wondering.

Interesting comments here. I too came up with the correct solution of 1 down but purely by the elimination of alternatives with crossed letters. The surplus "H 'I can live with but the second half eludes me - particularly the coat. Any advice would be most well welcome. Thanks
