13d - I guess it's too early in the morning! I should have seen this - blindingly obvious in hindsight!

Pauly, 8a is a single letter inserted into a 2-word phrase (3,4) for "warm feeling in a den". It's a good and funny clue.

Thanks for help so far, I'm good except for 19A which seems to be either of two words (second later 'I' is preferred for definition being 'title') but I cannot see why.
