Just joining the chorus of well-deserved praise for Picaroon. The PDM was a real joy on a dreich and dismal morning.

Thanks to Picaroon for an excellent puzzle - I really liked the way it all pieced together:-)

When completing the online entry I notice that, when I sign in, a "--NA--" appears in the space for 23A. I've tried signing out and back in again and it keeps appearing, on both my phone and laptop.

Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, can you think of a reason why?

Okay, Cancel that - I think the --NA-- appearing is part of an an autofill suggestion.

This was one of those puzzles that as soon as the entry method was clear, the whole thing fell in to place and was a quick solve (mostly!). I'm still can't solve 24A, though. Any hints?

Boson, the actual answer to the clue is split 2, 5. Think of the common 'ready to eat'.

Hmm, I'm just not seeing it. I have all the crossing letters and all clues entered apart from this so I know the 1st, 4th, 6th letter in the solution. Also, surely I have only one option for the 7th letter since the entry in the grid needs to make sense. Even with all of these letters, I just don't see it! I wonder if I have a mistake?

Boson, ready to eat Italian food? The 'drink' is a usual crossword one, the 'dip' is not something I'd have taken as a synonym.
