I am assuming my final letter for the top row is S or W?

No 'e' 'o' or 's' in that row, gitto.
The cycled word in 30 starts from the (apostrophe) 's'.

Neither of those, its a letter quite a bit earlier on in the alphabet.

This is perhaps over-cautious, but I wouldn't want us to stray into the realm of revealing too much. The top/spare row and column seem quite important....

...if you mean the very last square, but if you mean the one from 30d then yes, its one of the ones you mentioned.

I'm trying to steer clear of saying what's there, malone - I think discounting the errors still leaves things fairly ambiguous (but maybe not...?).

Malone, if anything has been revealed could you be kind enough to let me know what it is?

Gitto, I was concerned that a complete/corrected list of letters for the top row might be provided - and that could perhaps reveal too much. I don't think anything vital has yet been revealed!

Thanks,drxx. I did say I was perhaps being over-cautious . I was possibly worrying too much about all the letters (in that row) being revealed - but maybe no-one here would have given them anyway!
