My LOI was 9, Jono. I spent a while failing to make an anagram match the definition

Well, I did have 6 correct answers (one not matched with its corresponding wordplay).
I would not have solved gallimaufry no matter how many hours I spent :-(

Thanks again, Jono. Having read the preamble, I then forgot about it, and spent some time trying to fit 'what' into one of the other clues 🙄 I stumbled on #2, though it now seems blindingly obvious :)
