Hi Rocky,

11d - No, "running amok" is the definition - "where to write" is 2..3.5 and goes around 3 letter "horny male"

Thanks Brendan. I'm glad about that because I just wasn't getting anywhere. Just got 27a. Great definition.

Thanks Brendan. I was nearly there, and that really helped.

Is it necessary to use a1-4 split for the second definition in 6d?
I liked 10a- when my Sierra was broken, I was given the other model as courtesy car. The difference in power was very noticeable!

I took my driving test in the replacement BigJack. Definitely did not have much poke in those days (1982)

All finished. Really good one this so thanks to Picaroon for a real challenge. Happy with my answer but can't parse 9a just now.

FOI was 3d LOI 2d

I think 25a or 27a would be my CODs but frankly there are loads.

Hi rocky
I took a while to see the first word in 9 too, Reverse a slang word (coined by William Cobbett) for London, usually with "great" before it.
2nd word just a sounds like.
