Hi Mattrom, yes exactly, there needs to be a connection of some sort, for instance when word play at the end of the first clue forms part of the definition of the follow on clue. That said, I think it was Boatman recently, who strung three clues together to tell a little story, but each clue worked independently

That was, for this solver, the most difficult AZED in many a year. I often complete totally under my own steam, but not this week. I have to own to consulting TEA and Mrs B on more than one ocassion!
