I see artful and latitude, but 2 letters for stunner ?

22d. Old watch in lazar - house losing time. (5) spi?l

12a - it looks like your U might be wrong? "stunner" = KO

22d - "spital" is a hospital so "lazar house"" (lazar is a diseased person) - lose T(ime) and you have an obsolete/old word for "watch"

I've often seen ellipses used between two clues when there is a connection between the answers, but the parsing for each clue is independent. Is that what you mean?
