Many congrats, pedagogue - one of my favourites too! Thanks buddy.

For the weasellers, I saw this on 15squared on Monday:

A tone-deaf old person from Tring
When somebody asked him to sing,
Replied, “It is odd
But I cannot tell ‘God
Save the Weasel’ from ‘Pop Goes the King.’

Congrats Pedagogue, very nice. Cheers Buddy for the challenge and the podium positions. ‘Stab’ is fair ;-) Thanks also to Mrs Buddy for the spreadsheet duties.

If you asked for soda here you would get ‘soda water’ specifically, it’s not used as a generic term. Pop isn’t commonly used either in this sense. Probably we’d just say ‘soft drinks’.

Well done, Pedagogue. Thanks to Buddy for the challenge and the bronze, and to Mrs B. for her amanuensis role.

Hi Pedagogue,
I forgot to say - if you do a search for 'Clueless', there are 2 lists of words previously used in the 3 competitions, so as to avoid repetition.
I update the lists about mid-month. Words since the last update are; jalapeno, lollipop, calabash, mayo, climax/climactic, pet hate, pop, and ... streak.
