I have the answers but could someone parse 12 and/or 25 please?

DSC:
25 - an alternative spelling of a 5-letter word meaning 'to limit' with a letter removed. Definition is 'Estonian currency' (pre Euro).
12 - Look up the word ----g in Chambers as a noun. Third definition.

12 - answer is hyphenated 2-2; severe treatment is def 3 in BRB for answer+1.

25 - Defn is last two words; wordplay is synonym for limit - five letters - minus a letter.

Quickest ever for me, I think. I'm also a teensy bit insecure about the unch in 25d because of obscure parsing, and while confident of the answers, don't quite get the wordplay in 12d, 44a -what happened to poor dismembered Rosalind?

I too loved 18d. Ozymandias.

Thank you, Llig - not insultingly easy, ingenious and entertaining.

Lathamjeld @ #4, it's certainly a relief to see that several artistic options were accepted for Unruly Characters. I'm hoping that the deletion of the central letters was not required and that this is simply due to how the solution is printed in the paper.

This week was very gentle as others have noted. Quite a contrast!

Lathamjeld - thanks for the explanation of 25d - I was convinced that the Estonian IVR was involved in some mangled fashion that I would understand later, and the currency I entered was a Pacific one - you've saved me from disqualification with a carelessly wrong unch!

Kitsune, the website says “any illustration of fire or ash, however crude (including plain shading), was accepted, with the letters either erased (having been destroyed) or extant (ie, showing them being destroyed). Totally blank cells were also accepted.”

So you were fine

Re. Quisling @17.
I included the letters of 'the' in the fire. I did not consider them as being part of the destination as the destination appears to be ‘POST AMENDED BY ADMIN TO REMOVE REVEALING CONTENT”. So as 'the' was within the walls and ceiling, it was destroyed by fire...
Hopefully Mr Green will be lenient this week!

Pleasure to be of service Quixote.
Re 44 - I think the wordplay is a 3-letter abbreviation of Rosalind going around ('over') a 3-letter word for nothing (think Latin, or football!) with one letter missing.

All done, however I can’t reconcile 18d. The ‘Florida’ component I would normally go to abbreviations, but those don’t seem to land with what I’d expect are the usual 2- or 3-letter abbreviations.
