Have quite a number of original answers but despite the help here, am still lost as to the instructions to enter them into the grid. How do you work it out?

cycle the letters of your answer...eg if an answer was ANSWER it might be entered WERANS or ERANSW etc.

Have a look at common letters for answers you do have...start with a pencil in your grid....

just came to this and, as sircrispin has noted, found it tough. But finished with help from you all ... still - even though I've worked in TV - can't get the reality TV show in 2

Sorry Prospero, you already had that it was a reality show - it's known by it's acronym.

I've got everything entered but 12a, which I can't solve even with all the crossers and the right column letter. Is it a word Americans like me wouldn't think of?

12a - this is tricky because it's actually a surname of a ....../tender in WW1 ......... - 4 letter "beware" + 2 letter "limits of legal"

Amended by Admin at Brendan's request, two words removed and substituted with 'full stops'.
