I’ve got it now.
I had thought the V was at the beginning of the first word.
Phew. All done.
Can’t quite fully parse everything but that’s not unusual!
😊

I was stuck on that for a while, I had the plural example in my mind without any use for "India".

(20,10) is one of three new (to me) terms I had to figure out from parsing. But Google was not required for explanation...

Reminds me of the famous scene from the film This is Spinal Tap!

I was wrong about saying useful for smuggling budgies, that is swimwear!

In that clip, why doesn't the metal detector beep when he passes through it the other way?

I'm pretty sure that is a fairly safe for work clip and if it isn't you can say you were just looking for pictures of tractors!

Simple lines, intertwined, on the other hand is NSFW.

Can anyone help me with 6d and 8d? I’ve done all the rest and have possible answers for both these but absolutely can’t see why or how, so not confident. Sorry if I’m being dim

I’ve now got them! Almost as if the act of asking triggers the right brainwaves!

I was fair set to give up on this (seven clues entered) when I finally - on the third visit, and halfway through Sunday - got the long 11/16. Once that was in the rest went in one by one. Not my favouritest Paul puzzle I have to say.

I have set up a spreadsheet (on Google Docs) where individual cells act as Scrabble tiles - you can enter a letter in one and then pick it up and move it around. I find it quite handy as a virtual Scrabble board for anagrams.
