I enjoyed most of this, but agree with some of Chrise's quibbles re some iffy clues.
I also have never seen that spelling of 1a, and can't parse the first two letters of the second word. Can anyone shed some light on that?
No idea about the 'good' in 4d either. The first two letters mean 'thus' surely, which would have worked just as well as a replacement for very good.
I do think that 26 could be a sensation though - in the body.
I also loved 14a and liked the pairing of 7 and 8.
