Thanks to all who used a varity of devices to get everything they could out of this week's word.
There were succinct reversals and anagrams from patrich 2, paul7, 8&9 (including 2 ghosts), tyke 30.
Clever 'hiddens' from buddy 5, mprs17, tyke 26, aristo32, acronyms from tyke 6, FJ23, dorrien 27, patrich 36, double definitions from buddy 13, mprs 16, jono 18, and a letter selection from patrich 19.
I liked the part-word clues using ASAP, pastry, pasta, sappho, SAPO and sapper.

My still long shortlist included; buddy 4&28, tyke 6&26, paul 7, jono 15, patrich 22&36, FJ 23&25, aristo 32.
This week's winner is one of the longest clues for the shortest word - ginge's #31
