Hi Penda. Thanks for that. Got most of the answers and spotted that it was Pi but not sure what that has to do with Circus or Cottages. Probably being stoopid!

I thought it was a pun on custard pie (clowns in a circus) and cottage pie (the food) but Jazzgirl is probably right.

Hi penda, I wondered why the clues were separated into three blocks. I thought at first it was for math, myth and mess. I still don't understand where the not myth and mess come into it. Thanks for the puzzle anyway.

Orson, Guilty as charged. I slightly “tidied up” Penda’s post then separated the clues into 3 blocks solely for ease of reading, my aged eyes found the long list a bit disconcerting.

Not that it made any difference, I still couldn’t do any of them.
