I'm very impressed with you lot because for the life of me I cannot get 14d! Nor 5d as it happens, but I'm too ashamed to admit that I can't get a 4 letter word!

Not sure if you want some clues, here goes just in case:

5d Spinning ---- turned up the other way will give a word for the place in show

14d First 8 letters is a country + a well known road turned round (one of the letters is really a number) - put together for the answer, something by Sibelius.

Thank goodness - 5d slipped into my brain as I sent the last post. But not 14d....

You want a Scandinavian country of seven letters and add a prominent English road backwards [up] - this will give you a classical composition by Sibelius. If you think about spinning **** and then reverse the letters, you'll find a word which is synonymous with a place in a [variety] show. I too hope that Nimrod is on the mend.

Sorry it's the first 7 letters of 14d that is a country.
