Would someone be able to post a copy of the puzzle please?
I don’t think I’ll be able to get to the shop today.
Thank you

Another very gentle EV. The application of the theme gave me a smile. Thanks, Piccadilly.

Thanks to Piccadilly - this was great fun.

Can I just double-check that I've got the first part of column 9 correct as I've never come across the name before. Is it the title of a C19 Marquess and, according to Wiki, a reduced form of a word meaning "elf victory" ?

It's a very common Scottish name, so I didn't investigate further, Brendan.

Oh dear, I was up there for Christmas, as well - I'll have to widen my horizons. Many thanks Malone:-)

Thanks, Brendan. I had to investigate your 'elf victory' in Wiki, but I think I'll stick with the Chambers wording, 'from the island rock...'

Gosh, column 9 clearly got complicated for some solvers! I’ve looked subsequently and Chambers definitely does not include what I went with without a moment’s question - “what Jack’s postie is called”. And unless you are on our round, wherever we may be, that is not intended to be a spoiler!
