I think this is a clue whose entry needs to contain a 4-letter word in place of part of 29a.

Agree with others that this was a most enjoyable puzzle.

I finally figured out the "real" pseudonym once I stopped trying to find a single letter abbr. for swee or smee - seriously! I fear for my sanity sometimes 😜

I'm struggling to make sense of the real pseudonym, despite earlier hints. I'm assuming abbreviations but doubting myself given what I have. May I confirm that the only unchecked letter of the replacements is "L" ?

Yes it's L (you could be introducing the replacement one square too late).

That's right, bobbycollins - I know you'll know the correct pseudonym (as odd as it looks) when you imagine it replacing '29' at the top of the page.
