Well done, Patrich! Thanks, Buddy.

I have Rancid cd's, so approved of the music.

Well done, Patrich - liked that and several others you posted. Thanks, Buddy, for a versatile word to clue, the mentions and the clips. Disappointed that I don't really have an excuse to drink 🍷. Enjoy your trip.

Well done Patrich I thought that was the best clue also.

It's always beer o'clock somewhere in the world mattrom, you don't need an excuse.

Wow, I am delighted to win in such exalted company! Thanks Buddy for an inspirational word, your vote and the clips.

Sorry about the cricket thing … but you did plump for the right interpretation. I did think about the Hundred, but convinced myself it needed the definite article. Chrise: the mysteries of cricket … Joe Root is England cricket captain; spoke = radial; hundred is scoring a hundred runs (also referred to as a century or a ton … a bit like a grand slam home run, but takes a lot longer!). If you scored one, you’d want to speak about it, probably in a TV interview. Sorry!

PS … and football / soccer @23, I am duly ashamed of myself!

Chris’s, sorry I now understand your #41. I think a radial can be anything that looks like a radius (“a radiating part” in Chambers), as well as a tyre.
