I think “of” is ok in 7a in the sense that e.g. a line of London would be a London railway

Nice feature of the Chambers app is that it suggests homophones for words if they are available, so all I did was look up toxin

It’s a useful feature. Also if you misspell a word e.g. if you were to put TOXNI it will still suggest TOXIN and entering TO?IN it will suggest TOXIN and TOE-IN as the only words to fit that pattern
