Nice puzzle with some excellent clues. I don’t think the answers thread will be as long as last week’s, but this was no pushover (for me, anyway). Perhaps it would have been an idea to remove the non-thematic area for neatness?

Indeed, but I can find only 79 cells which are thematic. More looking required tomorrow.

Well, I've got a full grid which I am happy with - and some very nice clues in this puzzle. Now on to my weekly grid staring, which always annoys me.

Another nice touch, Dysart, in that you’ve preserved the hierarchy.

Got a gridfill and did a bit of staring and visiting unprofitable rabbit holes. Put it to one side and rather forgot about it until a P D’ed from a very great height. As to outlining/highlighting, I’ve plumped for different colour inks for thematic and non-thematic cells. I hope that will satisfy the scorer.
