Completed with theme but am left with a couple of clues to complete: 28 ac Redness of skin round tip of shoulder diminished, showing no peeling (9) and 27ac Endlessly difficult to handle stack of pay (4) . After last weeks humbling non solve it was quite a relief to get back to something more straightforward!

Sorry - I’ve just looked and my thumbs have made the title 1723 instead of 1722 ! Hope that won’t mess up next week ..

Both of those clues have a misprint.

28 - 'redness of skin' = heat (1st letter of last word changes).
27 lose first and last letters of 6 letter word for 'difficult to handle' (1st letter of last word changes).

I can't get 6d...maybe I have a wrong letter. A nudge please!

Chemistry - change a letter in the first word, lumen.

...last word refs cinema.

Citizen - via a film..

I have the first part as an organ of the body the last part looks like TE?? but that first T might be wrong as I cant get any word to make sense.

Doh!! I had the L in the wrong place in my African meeting! so now obvious what the answer is!! All done for once on the same day..
