After last week’s monster, this was a much brisker but really fun solve.

Enjoyed the thematic aspects in the cluing and the endgame. Also felt like a couple of modern touches in the clues which i liked too.

Hear Hear CD. Balm to my brain, or what’s left of it after last week’s horror! Took me a while to understand what was to be highlighted, and it was a nice penny drop when I got it. I don’t recall seeing Mira before; if this is a debut, it’s an auspicious one.

I know it's inadvertent but this belongs in the other discussion because you have revealed something about the lengths of the name and device (at least their sum).

I'm new here and can't get hold of a copy of today's Times: it's not been distributed in my area. Is there any way some kind person could send me a link to today's puzzle?
