Lumen 2d needs a letter removing. You have all the crossing letters. Can you help me with 8d and 10d? I’m flummoxed and annoyed with myself.

8 is anag of 'how' followed by second letter of 'food', plus a word meaning to use the loo.
10 has a jumbled word in clue.
