Lumen, good thinking. I've put in a request.

Hi everyone. I think I must have been lucky today. Once I had the two 3 letter answers in place, I was away. Really enjoyed this.

Hi jogamel, yes those two 3 letter answers were the key. And, thankfully, fairly easy to get. But still can't parse "Smear test etc", though I have the answer.

Nelson, the clue could read 'prime number locations'.

Late as usual, I'm afraid, but I'd be really grateful for hints on the last 7-letter clued answer - "Join with sun-god in compound". Sounds so easy but I'm stumped, and having the other 3 7-letter answers and most of the rest, I'm fairly sure thsi one would be the key to whwere to start putting them....

Nansen, there's a common five-letter word for 'join', verb, with a two-letter sun-god, often used in crosswords, inside.

... and the definition is - compound (a noun).

Oh goodness, I do feel silly. I'd consiidered (of course!) both those words separately, and somehow hadn't quite managed to put them together that way... Thank you Malone.
