I have a problem with 31a and 28d. I have a star for 31 a but can’t see how to change it.Thanks for any hints.

Oh! Just got it. Had to google the names which I have never heard of!

“Hard but Fair” - as the Pythons said…😉 I embarrassed myself by staring helplessly at 22 for way too long. At one point I even thought of “Tyne”! What a twerp!

I have finished it now, but I cannot find the word that links to the switch in 27A (which I have solved). Any hints?

1st post. been attempting Genius for a while. Some easier than others.

Really struggling with 25a & 18d. Any hints would be welcome

25 is a small breed of dog (3 letters) 'clear out' is the def (emetic?).
18 The original answer is an anag of the 5th and 6th words + t[own].

Thanks to the discussion here I cracked the final one of the 10 (26d for me, which matched up with the dangling hendiadys (wow, that's a cool word - thanks sircrispin!)

However - I am left with an unfilled light, 7 down. I have identified the extraa words (->14d), I have all the crossers and I believe I have a solution (would usually follow with 'tent') but just can't parse the blighter. Any tips...?
