I had the first letter from 19ac and got the last five from the wordplay, which just gave me one letter to make a European city in 21d.

Doh for 25d. Why didn't I think of that.

Just that 12ac to get in next 5 minutes!

I'm even more mystified by your hint.

The obscure word is only 4 letters long. "Butter's occasionally" gives the first 4 letters

12A though, look for an inclusion, I'm sure you know what that means.

My Yogi clue was for 22D being the sidekick of a cartoon bear, for the other poster.

Sorry about the confusion.

I agree 12ac looks straightforward, but I'm struggling with chinooks. I know about helicopters and now know about chinooks winds in Canada. I'm not sure what the seafood.

Yeah I'm fairly new here so maybe hidden is a better word than inclusion although I'm sure I've seen that before

Which is probably because a lot of the clues have "part of" or "included in" in the clue I suppose, so I just call them that

Started this one last night, all went well until I stalled in the SE corner. Finished this morning with a read through of this ever helpful forum, thanks to all. The biggest PDM was 24ac when I finally put "have" in the correct location. Not a thing I use, that's my excuse! Would anyone care to concoct a dish using the themed items grown by the 9d in their 15d?😉.
