The very first date in the thematic list - for Autumn - is the day of (in French 'raisin') grape. Every day has its own thematic item and the specific date here is...

The wiki entry is much more detailed than my hard copy - I wish I'd found it earlier.

Before I start on the very last part of this quite brilliant puzzle, can I get some help on these two ...

Man's given name of Blue Arum (4)

I have the middle two letters and, after filling in the perimeter, I have it beginning with U which doesn't seem to produce any word or name? If it began with O then it could produce a man's (Middle Eastern) name - where have I gone wrong?

Cargo fiddle supported by European iniquity (5)

I have a word meaning "iniquity" but I just can't see how it's parsed?

Brendan, the U name is listed in my Chambers. (But your O thing isn't too far away!) I think Blue might be busted, wasted....

And the other one is a relatively unusual (to me) abbreviation, then a three-letter 'fiddle' (verb) and a usual European.

Thanks very much Malone,

I should have seen the letters I had were all in a word in the clue - silly me 🥵

For the last one, I've scoured my Chambers app and C is definitely not given as an abbr. for "cargo" and I see the middle three letters can mean "stimulate" but is that synonymous with "fiddle"? I still think I'm missing something.

OMG! I've just looked in the Chambers thesaurus, which I always forget to do, and there it is - "fiddle"!!

Thanks again Malone:-)

Thanks, Brendan. The C is pretty far down the page (and I feel it's a little sneaky as it's C-).

The 3 letter word is a noun in Chambers ('fiddle' - the upraised edge of a tray).
