Could someone give me a nudge for the 3 word phrase - I'm guessing that the 2 word cryptic indication is 7,5.

The 3 word is what you might do if you want to make a football field longer or shorter.

and cryptic definition is 7 letters 5 letters.

It would have caused me a lot less angst if I had the correct 9 letter word. I had (incorrectly) put a "P" in the top LH corner, which from Bradford's led me to Flagpoles. However it is completely different, and now blindingly obvious, items that are relocated.

Can anyone help with the parsing of ....

My answer is a "dancing-girl" and I'm assuming (always a mistake!) the H comes from (thig)H, but that leaves ALMA for "pillar almost" but I just can't find any word meaning "pillar" that begins with those letters?

My answer is "meat jellies" but the rest?

2oa double definition ³ in Chambers.
