put a lower case i inside square brackets to turn on italics. Don't forget to put /i inside square brackets to turn them off.
Use b for bold similarly, and u for underline (if ever you would wish to).

Nearly done with, but just can’t get 16. I have the last 5 letters and am presuming second letter is B if I have 17 correct. Any help would be appreciated

Second letter not B. There was a good hint for this one earlier, which explained the parsing for my unparsed answer!

Thanks chrise. Done it now. Had got 17 wrong. FOI 8. LOI 17 as I had it wrong. COD the cheeky 1 follows by 8. Struggled a long time with 23 despite it being my name!

Almost finished, with thanks to help on here. Some clever clues, but too many were too clever for me, so solving was down to putting crossers into OneLook Dictionary and reverse engineering.

"Almost finished" because I still can't parse 5D beyond thinking some or all of the wordplay is an anagram.
