Thanks, Brendan (re #20). Loved this clue (20A). Like 16A, it made me laugh out loud.
Just a few more to do.
Hope everybody's well. Sunny & windy here in Devon

Following Tramp's tester yesterday this was a fairly straightforward Everyman today. Wrapped up in less than an hour in the sunshine. I did enjoy this but felt some of the clues a bit clunky and obvious.

FOI 1a. COI 20a.

19: def is "bore", past tense of verb. Breaks down as 3 + 4.

First time posting although I always look at the forum (even though I don't always need it for Everyman).

Just wondered whether 12, 13 & 16 could be considered a rhyming triplet... (maybe not as the last words in 13 & 16 sound the same).

Started doing the Guardian cryptic on Saturdays during lockdown - almost always need this forum to complete it.

Good spot, Amanda. Like Rocky7 (@33), I did this in the garden and knocked it off fairly quickly and have only just come back inside. Didn't get the parsing of 20a first time round but then re-read it and had to like it (great comment by Ludo (@21)! My COD though was 19d which is short and sharp. As a hobby beekeeper, I had to like 13d (and mine are at the moment - they love this weather) but even my wife (who is no cryptic crossword fan) got it as soon as I read it out.

Hi Amandaj - me too re starting in lockdown, found this forum SO helpful.

Geeker- I’m ashamed to say I still can’t get it! Have I got my crossers wrong maybe? I have c-r-t-d

noeyedeer: in 19a your crosser "t" is wrong. First 3 letters are a type of (one word in clue); last 4 letters are an anagram of (another word in clue).
