Can anyone please help me parse the 7 letter "Internally burn.. "clue
I presume it begins with an F? I can't see anything else fitting.
Otherwise all done but don't know if I have the energy to follow through the two letter hints!

Williamseal, Internally burn gives you two letters - a common crossword device. Those letters go inside a pan, one for chips.... The definition is 'more down'.(Not sadder, another 'down')

All finished apart from one where I can't see the full wordplay.

The second one starting "Introduction" - I have the answer, the definition and the extra word. I can see the final word but can't make see the rest of the wordplay.

I assume that we are simply required to enter the thematic person's identity in the top row - leaving some non-words? Bit of a let-down after a fine puzzle, but not enough to detract from my overall enjoyment. Quite happy with the hint leading to the related person. Thanks Deuce😃

Pretty much complete but would appreciate tips for the parsing/extra word in two clues so I can see the full messages.
They are the three letter A word and the four letter abbreviation one. Thanks.
