Hi everyone, lots to enjoy here; I really liked 19d (although I agree that 'code' would have been a better word than 'info') and 15, 16 and 25a.

I'm still confused about 19a though. If the first two letters (VE) of 19a come from VegetatE, where is the indication that it's the first and last letters? And what then is the purpose of 'on vacation' and 'resort' in the clue? And surely the definition is actually NOT a caravan?! According to the dictionary the answer has a motor, which caravans do not.

I agree that the first two words of 7 down are redundant. And I'm not particularly happy with 'withdrawing' to indicate a reversal in 10a. It seems a bit tenuous, but maybe that's just me being picky!

Re 19. On vacation is the indicator to remove the central letters of the preceding word. Touring requires putting these two letters either side of the anagram of Chile

Re 19A (deep breath): 'on vacation' is the indicator to remove the middle from vegetate (it's vacated, geddit?) to give you VE, and Everyman often uses 'resort' as an anagram indicator ... in this case of Chile. 'Touring' indicates that the former goes round the latter. But after all that, you're dead right - a caravan isn't one of them anyway!

Ah ok, thanks Chrise, Jono and Phil. I thought that 'touring' was the anagrind, rather than resort. Also that VE were the first two letters, rather than the first and last. Good to know that about 'on vacation' for future xwords! But I'm glad you agree with me Phil that the answer is not a caravan!

Am I going mad . Just started with 1a and 1d . Am pretty certain of them both but they give different letters for the crosser
