Has anyone here ever read Michael Gilbert's The Etruscan Net (published in the US as The Family Tomb), in which a crossword setter's offerings mailed from Italy to the UK are taken as secret messages? Oh! I shouldn't give it away...

Aristo, I haven't read that one, I'll check it out.
I'm planning on keeping Buddy's voting system next week. Shouldn't be too difficult if I set up a spreadsheet in Google Docs. Of course, if Google excommunicates Australia by then, it may be in OpenOffice.
