Mattrom, Buddy (the dog, not the crossword enthusiast) is Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever, and I took in a second dog this summer (Sammi) who is supposedly part lab, although she won't chase a ball. If there is retriever in her it's buried deep. Congrats again on your win.
