This is an excellent puzzle with all sorts of fun elements to it.

However, I've hit a snag with the last misprint in the downs - I think I know what letter it should be but I've got a P, which I'm sure can't be right, but just can't see how "tom" can change to get the letter I think it is?

Ah! Many thanks.

I've just got 6d left to solve but despite having 8 of the crossing letters I can't see it.

I'm a letter short in the highlighting - do two of the objects share a letter G?

It's Okay, I see what I was doing wrong.

A truly excellent puzzle by Gaston.

I was intrigued by the instruction to highlight by drawing lines through the relevant cells, even though it would look all right if the cells were completely coloured in. The contact between the first two objects would be perfectly appropriate.

It made me wonder if this way of highlighting would always be acceptable. See the thread ‘Highlighting’ if you are interested.

Rad, I think the instruction was phrased as it was in order for the second 'element' to be circular. This made the trio of elements clearer.

Hi

I need a bit of help here.

I've filled the grid and figured out the theme as best I can....but am stuck on the highlighting.

I can see the 'circular ' element and the third element, also shaped as it should be, but am not getting the 1st element to be symmetrical. Like Brendan I wondered if it overlapped but that doesn't give 28 cells.

Any help that you can give ?

Ta

Hi Fred,

As you say, I had the same problem but the first element is an inverted T shape rather than an inverted L and the base extends to the bottom row.
