Agreed - another rather trivial one.

It may be heresy to say it but over the last few months, I think the Inquisitor has provided more interesting and varied, and more challenging, crosswords.

I agree that this is rather easy, but I cannot see 1a or 40a, and I only have 11 of the thematics. Time for a break - I do not want any nudges - it's far far too early.
