Ah, well by that time I had the theme and I knew the misprints needed to say "opus 32"

No in 24 the correct character is "2" not "0"

I see where we're getting mixed up now.

So presumably the misprint in 23d is 3 but I had changed "doses" to "noses" - what is it that changes from ? to 3?

2 doses becomes 3 doses - 1st 3 letters

Ok, I think I get it. It's 3 doses as in the first three letters of neb...... but it says 2.

Instead of 32 I had changed letters to NO as in No. 32a and thought the 32 came from 32a "disc" meaning the actual record or recording.
