Buddy I don't want to give away the theme, but to say that the other anagram is in Chambers (maybe not M-W though) as an 'odd job', amongst others - and the anagram is a smaller entity than the other anagram, and like a fine wine has a good nose!
I saw that, but since Chambers lists it as "archaic" it also didn't seem "of a kind." And unlike the others of that ilk it is not a breed. But, some of the other theme words are not exactly household words either.
I think I have 9 of the 10 unclued lights and their definitions, but the tenth light and its definition are proving to be elusive. Can anyone confirm that the definition of the light at 25D is an extra word in the clue for 26A?
Having trouble finishing this one. I can’t see what comes in front of the title to give the link between the animals. Also I don’t have definite answers for 6 and 28. Any ideas?
