Apologies to Jws, in the circumstances I `m wrapping proceedings up early. Thanks to all the 16 participants.
Fiery received 2 votes for different clues, Spike2, Aristo, Peterm, Dorrien and Faiton also received a vote. I thought anagrammers would find it a tough word to clue but Mattrom rose to the challenge and with a landslide 8 votes takes the Gold this week for her @12 ...

Well done Mattrom! your prize might calm us all down hopefully. I think Buddy introduced Dracula into the competition, so I have an excuse to show an aerial view of Whitby. Besides featuring in Bram Stoker`s novel it was also where Captain James Cook learned how to sail.

congrats, mattrom - possibly the most decisive win ever?

thanks tyke - very restful. we've been to whitby quite often, for various reasons (none exactly holidays!). one of our favourite hotels is there - the white horse and griffin.

Thanks to everyone for your votes and mentions - really appreciated.
A nice calming video, Tyke. So that's where "our" Captain Cook started to sail. Thanks for the challenge and officiating.
Cheers till next week - if Tyke's moved out by then.

Very nice clue Mattrom! Thanks Tyke, enjoyed the clip. There’s pub near me on the Thames called the Prospect of Whitby, I believe named after a ship that brought coals here
