I haven’t been able to follow this one too closely. My elderly aunt has been in hospital. (I used the British expression there.)

Buddy @40: Good one! You must be a spud boy. Haven’t seen the movie you cited, but was fortunate to see them live about 10 years ago.

What a galaxy of entries! Thanks to all who contributed. I chose a word with limited dictionary definitions, knowing how inventive you all are.
I liked the touches from bigblind's 'hurt joint', dorrien's 'ova', jimmy and paulh's 'dail', FJ's 'violent teds' and 'violet', jono's E-fit, and the musical tributes from buddy and mprs.
A special mention for ginge's &lit #7.
My not-so-short list included;
chrise 3, ginge 7, faiton 13&17, buddy 15&23, dorrien 16, paul 21&48, tyke 22, SW 34&35, paulh 49, jono 6&51
I've chosen aristo #19 as the winner, partly because it made me smile, but also for the wonderful definition.

With dropped buttocks is it fitting to be seen in drawers?

Congratulations, aristo. Here is your prize....

Thanks and cheers.

Thanks mattrom, and for the mention.

Congrats aristo - could someone explain the wordplay, please (I like the definition too!).

Congrats aristo - I had a gut feeling yours might be the winner - and thanks for the mentions mattrom. Good word choice!

("Wood Review" magazine? What is that, the sister publication of "Lumber Illustrated"?)

Well done, Aristo, and thanks for the mentions and the comp., mattrom.

I've heard of the Bad Boys Club here, but, mattrom, after your recent 'string and plump bottom' for GROUND, and now your admiration of buttocks, is there a Bad Girls Club too?
