Hi buddy
I'm pretty sure that BBM2 was just clarifying his "like", not changing his vote. Dorrien's post was 16 rather than 17.

That was my assumption, but with so much at stake (fate of Western civilization, etc.) I wanted to be sure.

I liked an awful lot of these, my 'short' list has 8 in!

As 2 of them were Jono at 17 and 21, I'll go with Jono@17.

If nothing else this week highlights the shortcomings of FPTP voting with 35 candidates on the ballot. Perhaps we need some sort of overly complicated preference voting scheme to turn the "likes" into second and third place votes that can be used to break ties. Be that as it may, here are the results:

With one vote: faiton 3, faiton 8, jono 21, fj 22, tyke 23 and tyke 25

Sole 2nd place with two votes: dorrien 16

Tying for first with 3 votes apiece: fj 2, jono 17

It falls to me to break the tie. For two reasons: 1) the surface reading is a little better and 2) when my daughter studied in London for a semester she lived in Kensington, I select jono @17 with the pithy:

Trouble in Kensington? (6)

As a prize in this year of social distancing, I present perhaps the finest example of such that I have ever seen:
