Hello, Malone!
I think "eyecup" is more of an American word.
I would say "eyebath".

Thanks, Rusty. Yes, I agree about the terminology and the clue not being great - then again, it was one of the dreaded 'homophone' things. Those rarely suit me (and rarely work anyway!)

I sailed through this puzzle, only to be denied at the last step! 40 Down is - "Sad end of gnu and end of tiger sought by killer?" (6,3)
I have G-N-E- F-R. It looks as if the second word is FUR.

I'm still struggling on this one, Malone! When I saw "end of gnu and end of tiger" I thought that "UR" would go on the end and help make "FUR".

Incidentally, I'm glad we don't have to do any traffic light and zebra crossing + whatever else identification at the moment!
