Cheers! The U crept in because I was thinking about "tub" for the second word! Got it now, thanks for the hints.

I have 2 little words left to solve in the bottom right corner, 26ac Anne Hathaway's head back and hair treatment, N?A??. And 27d, State slavery not clever, ??E?. Is State a homophone signal?

I think I've got them both but can't parse 26ac. Where is the Hair treatment?

26 doesn't start with N
27 state is the definition, as in making a statement

26a is hidden and the definition is hair treatment.
